The S.U.G.O. Radio Podcast with Nick and Vince
In August of 2013, I started a podcast with my longtime, like-minded musical friend, Nick. Sometimes there are themes (Halloween, Christmas, Artist tributes and such), but most of the time is just whatever we want.
As of August 2024, our free-form radio project currently has over 290 episodes available for streaming and/or free download! Help yourself to our Straight Up Geek Out. Here are some of our favorite featured episodes below.

S.U.G.O. Radio episode number 100!
The Broadcast Retrospective
We dedicated our 100th episode to one of our most favorite bands: Broadcast. In 2011, Trish Keenan passed away. Her haunting, ethereal, other dimensional voice was her calling card and her lyrics were sheer poetry. We could only imagine the journeys her voice could take us on today. We miss you Trish!
Remote Recording Events with Nice Price Books and Sorry State Records
S.U.G.O. Radio episode No. 200!
Halloween’s 19th turn
A second push of the century button - What a more appropriate way to celebrate than with one of our annual Halloween episodes. These Halloween episodes will always be a thing, folks. We’ve done various other themed affairs, but we always come back for a good scare, or at least some spooky sounds.
We called our first Remote Recording Event (“RRE”) “S.U.G.O. Radio After Hours: Live from Nice Price Books.” Huge thanks to Enoch, Brian, Matt, David and everyone who made that Friday night such a memorable and fun one. Congratulations to those two random dudes that won all of our episodes (up to that point) on USB drives. I hope they listened to all of them and have become obsessed by now, but who knows. They likely wiped those USB sticks for their own storage purposes. Enoch was nice enough to ask us back a few months later and we did two more episodes with him.
Sorry State Records specializes in punk and hardcore music, but their store is littered with all genres of music. Daniel Lupton and company let us in after they closed the store one hot summer evening in 2015 to record 3 episodes that take your ears all over the place in time and space.
